Origins/Source/Inspiration- Lemon Quartz/Faceted Cut Gemstones from Brazil. Lemon quartz typically shows a range of yellow tones, from pale lemon to rich golden hues, with some pieces hinting at green or brown. The gem's clarity varies from transparent to translucent, and well-cut stones display a sparkling brilliance like sunlight on water.
Faceted Lemon Quartz drops, approximate size 15x15mm. I constructed a simple wire bail for the gemstone to hang from the hand-forged ear wire. French style ear wires that I hand-forged. All made in 14KYG. Total length of these earrings 35mm.
This design is very simple. I wanted it to be all about the gemstone and to be very comfortable for wear. I just loved this pair's unique square shape with lots of pretty facets. This pair really is just like sunlight on water.
