Origins/Source/Inspiration- Smoky Lemon Quartz/Faceted Cut Gemstones from Brazil. Smoky Quartz appears as a darker stone, spanning from a pale grayish brown to nearly black. Lemon Quartz comes in a lovely range of yellow tones. Combining these together, the result is a beautiful ombre gemstone. 

Faceted Smoky Lemon Quartz drops, approximate size 21x9mm. I constructed a simple wire bail for the gemstone to hang from the hand-forged ear wire. French style ear wires that I hand-forged. All made in 14KYG. Total length of these earrings 45mm.

This design is very simple. I wanted it to be all about the gemstone and to be very comfortable for wear. I just loved this pair's ombre tones of warm brown to pale yellow, sculptural shape and pretty facets.
